It seems that the Ergotron company has not rested on its laurels since it has updated its line of ergonomic workfit desks for all 'new' iMac models, adjusting the arm support to make it compatible without any adapter to said iMac.
The models introduced are on the one hand Workfit-A for all 2012 iMac from 21,5 "to 27" priced at U.S. dollar 649, which is designed to be used both standing and sitting, being able to adjust it in depth and height by simply moving it effortlessly to the most comfortable position for us. They can be lifted between 40 and 50 cm from the position where the base is installed.
On the other hand would be the second model dedicated to the MacBook and called Workfit-P with a price much more content of U.S. dollar 349 although it is still somewhat high but offering the same aluminum structure in the arm and adjustment although on a smaller scale.
While for the iMac model there is a slot where we will place the foot of it so that it stays in position when moving it, the one for MacBook will only have to be placed on top of a movable desk, although I suppose it will have to be precisely pretty careful when moving it as it will not be attached anywhere.
It seems like a good option as long as by space issues On our desk we necessarily need to have an extra height to place the Mac, but the 'high' price that these two accessories have does not compensate if we simply want to install it for aesthetics, anyway if we compare it with other options such as Kinetic Desk by Stir (saving the distances) it seems quite cheap.
