Evernote adds tasks to your famous notes thus increasing productivity

Evernote

The popular app Evernote is going to stop being just an application to manage notes, and with it you can also control your tasks, thus greatly increasing your productivity when managing your day-to-day work, and why not, also in the private sector, if you are a very busy person.

This expansion of functions is not yet operational, as it has been announced today, and will be gradually implemented in the coming weeks. So you know, in a few days Evernote will become EvernoteTask....

More than ten years that the first version of Evernote was launched, and it has become one of the most popular applications to create and manage notes on your devices, whether on computers, tablets and smartphones of any platform.

And in his blog official, he has just published that this management of the notes will be expanded very soon, and you will be able to do the same, but with tasks. That means you can add due dates, alerts, reminders, timestamps, etc. to your notes.

Notes become tasks

Now a first beta with these new functions has just been launched, and it is expected that in a few weeks an update for all users will be fully operational. These are the new arrivals that Evernote Task offers us:

  • Optimize workflows. When notes and tasks cohabit together, there is no need to decide what happens in notes in front of a task manager or a to-do list.
  • See what you have to do every day and why.
  • Set deadlines and add reminders so that the right tasks show up at the right time.
  • Use alerts to prevent tasks from getting lost in the daily mix, even when Evernote is not in use.
  • Check off what's important so efforts can focus on what matters most.
  • Get a summary view of each pending task, or an overview to the full context of a project.
  • Work your way. Designed to accommodate unique work styles, users can sort tasks by note, due date, or marked status, and use filters to see all the information.
  • You will have any changes made to the tasks updated instantly in each view and on each device.
