FileSync, to sync files

Quite we have talked these days about MobileMe, whose main function is the synchronization of our entire digital life. However, there are times when we don't need such a comprehensive solution. Such is the case when we work, for example, temporarily with some files here, we save it on a pendrive, we work elsewhere, and then we return to the same place. Well, in order not to lose or get confused in that process, there is FileSync.

And what exactly is it about? Well it's a file managerWhat it does is keep the points we choose up to date, be it a pendrive, an external disk or a disk image.

What you have to do is define a "source" (or source) and a "target" (or destination) and give the function "compare folders" that will compare the folders and will give us a report of which files have changed and which ones have not. Once this step is done, it can be synchronized from the "synchronize" option.

As you can see, it is quite easy to use and even, from this version, we have the possibility of canceling the synchronization once it has started, among other minor novelties, such as the calculation of the space that will be available after the synchronization.

The little program in question comes in versions for Tiger y Leopard (it seems to work better on the first than the second) and it's universal binary. And free
