The guys from Cupertino have just released a new update to their Final Cut Pro X video applications that reaches version 10.2.1 and Motion 5, in this case version 5.2.1. Both updates come hand in hand and fixing some major bugs that users have reported to Apple.

In the case of Final Cut it seems that the main problem before this update was related to the unexpected shutdown of the tool causing the loss of work done, but support for videos recorded with Panasonic AVCCAM cameras is also added again allowing 25p and 30p images per second and precision details are improved when editing by dragging the timeline. In the case of Motion 5 a problem directly related to the Photoshop file import and unexpected closures.

Apple is taking great care of its video editing software and updates to these tools usually solve problems in new versions reported by users themselves and obviously also detected by the company itself. Both updates are available for download by directly accessing the Mac App Store or from the menú menu. > App Store
