Finally Twitterrific is coming to macOS

A little less than 20 days ago, we informed you about the funding search campaign that the developers of the Twitterrific application for iOS had opened, in order to bring this application to the macOS ecosystem. Within a few hours, just over $ 10.000 had been raised and the amount was still rising. 21 days later, and as we can see in the Kickstarter campaign, Iconfactory has managed to obtain more than 75.000 dollars necessary to carry out the application for macOS. At the time of writing this article Iconfactory's campaign has raised over $ 85.000 when there are still 8 days to complete the campaign.

With 9 days to go, there is still more than enough time to reach the goal of $ 100.000, a goal that the developers say will force them to add new functions and features that were not initially planned in the amount requested initially. Bids start at $ 10 with thanks as the only reward. But if we want to get at least one copy of the app when it launches, we must contribute at least 15 dollars, which will allow us to obtain a copy of it when it is officially launched.

But if the campaign finally reaches $ 125.000, Iconfactory claims that will add new features not covered by the $ 100.000 that already offered a number of exclusive features. Among the functions that the application will allow us to find:

  • The ability to send direct messages
  • Be able to read, create and delete stored searches.
  • Read lists
  • Search on Twitter
  • Twitter search for images, GIFs and videos.
  • Create linked conversations.
  • Possibility of being able to read the complete profiles of the users
  • Extra text when attaching images in tweets
  • Suggestions according to our searches

Since 2014, Twitterrific developers have tried to bring their app to macOS, since it initially came to iOS in 2012.
