Find the Stabilize and Jelly Effect feature in Final Cut Pro X 10.3

Final Cut Pro X in its last major update, version 10.3 presented last fall, brought important news. Not only on an aesthetic level, according to the great video editing programs which transmitted a cascade of enormous positive comments, but also internally, with an agility and easy operation that left more than one perplexed, even in teams of Medium power.

But when an update makes a major redesign, questions often arise about where this widely used function or this shortcut to such a function is now. This is what happened to me with the function Stabilization and Gelatin Effect. If you do not know these functions, tell you that they are used when a video is recorded with one hand and the image jumps. Thus, With the use of these functions we can reduce the vibrations produced by our pulse.

Lest you panic, this feature continues in the app, but is in a different location than previous versions. In the previous version, you had to access it in one of the taskbar drop-downs, being able to access it through a keyboard shortcut.

On the other hand, now it is in a section that may be more practical, but that may take you a while to find it, because even if you go to the search section and put "Stabilize" or "stabilize image" you do not get results.

Therefore, now you must select the clip you want to act on and go to inspector, with the settings button on the top right or the keyboard shortcut: Alt + Command + 4, you will see in the video section the two options: stabilize and gelatin effect. Also in this version, you can go to the drop-down on the right side and you will see different settings for each of them.
