Martin Scorsese's next project, Killers of the Flower Moon, will premiere exclusively on Apple TV +, after the Cupertino-based company struck a deal with Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio's production company. Once the cast has been completed and roles have been reassigned, filming has started and we already have the first image.

After more than a year of preparation, the first news about this movie is from March 2020, we finally have the first picture of this new Scorsese movie, an image showing Leonardo DiCaprio as Ernest Burkhart and Lily Gladstone as his wife, Mollie.

This image has been shared by DiCaprio through his Twitter account (Via Osage News). Lily gladstone joined the cast of the film last February, along with Jesse Plemons as an FBI agent who will carry out the investigation of the murders of wealthy Osage Indians.

This film, of which in addition to the director, Scorsese is also an executive producer, is based on the eponymous book by author David Grann. In addition to Leonardo DiCaprio, another of the great Hollywood stars that appear in this new film is Robert DeNiro.

Killers of the Flower Moon is set in 1920, and the newly created Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is investigating the murders of the wealthy Osage Indians those who had been granted rental rights to the oil discovered under their lands.

It is still too early to know what could be the release date of this new movieHowever, it is most likely that it will reach both the cinema and Apple TV + before the end of the year in order to compete for the Oscars of the Academy of Hollywood next year, in what will be the 94th edition.
