This new documentary will show us the evolution and change of television content of the people who are part of the LGTBI collective. All the people who appear in the documentary, has had a very important impact in the world of the small screen and they narrate the difficulties they have had to face.

Apple has shared the first trailer of this new series, a series that consists of 5 chapters of one hour and presented by Neil Patrick Harris, Asia Kate Dillon, Margaret Cho, Lena Waithe and Janot Mock, show us how television has become an excellent medium to raise awareness among Americans.

Each episode will explore different topics such as homophobia, invisibility, the evolution of the LGTBI character and the emergence of the television industry. The series will feature interviews with Ellen DeGeneres, Oprah Winfrey, Anderson Cooper, Billy Porter, Rachel Maddow, Don Lemon, Sara Ramírez, Jesse Tyler Ferguson… among other.

Visible: Out on Television is directed and produced by Ryan White. The executive producers are Jessica Hargrave, Wilson Cruz and Wanda Sykes. This series will be available on Apple's video streaming service next February 14.
