Things as they are, the application that natively offers us the weather offers us very little information at a glance. If we want to obtain more information we have to open the notification center and click on the location that we have previously saved so that the weather forecast for the next few days is displayed. A process that forces us to perform several keystrokes when we could obtain the same information in the menu bar. Forecast Bar is an application that shows us precise information about the current and future weather of the localities that we have pre-established, in the menu bar.
To see the weather forecast for the next 24 hours, we just have to click on the temperature icon to display the upcoming rainfall, wind speed, humidity and UV indicator together with the state of the sky, whether cloudy, sunny, partially cloudy ... If we click on the radar it will show us an interactive animation of the next few hours.
We can select up to 10 different locations that are kept updated at all times each time we click on their icon. Forecast Bar detects automatically the location to set the units of measure in which it will display the information. Thanks to the Time Machine function we can see the time it made at any given moment 70 years ago. With this same function we can also predict the weather forecast for the next 70 years. If the weather man rarely gets it right, I highly doubt that this feature is really useful.
Regarding the configuration options, we can change the color of the background and we can even customize the information we want to be displayed every time we click on the icon. This application has a price of 5,99 euros, it is not cheap but if you want to obtain all the weather information almost instantly, this application is ideal for this.
Too expensive for a simple weather forecast application, the native one is enough and it is free.
