The Finder is a pretty good file manager -especially since Snow Leopard for its performance-, but if we want a more powerful alternative we can find it: its name is ForkLift.
With a very clean UI and an attractive design, this application allows us to manage local files and also allows us to connect to remote servers, allows us to create droplets, have a favorites manager and manage compressed files.
In short, a very powerful alternative to the Finder with much more, but losing the lightness and simplicity of the Apple option ... and of course paying.
