Foxconn plans to open three factories in India

It seems that Foxconn intends to expand its factories in India and this may be due to the great demand from Apple and the other companies for which the Chinese company manufactures. It is clear that Apple has a high role in Foxconn and the products that it manufactures, but it must be clear that the Chinese giant assembles products for many firms.

Distribution problems of new Apple products are always usually associated with assembly problems, it is true that many factors influence, but most of the problems come caused by high demand and lack of stock. With this possible move by Foxconn, Apple and the other companies would profit directly.

We leave part of the statements of the Prime Minister of India, Devendra Fadnavis:

India has the largest number of mobile phones in the world, but only 7% of these mobile phones are manufactured in the country. The rest are imported. Our country is rapidly urbanizing. The most urbanized state in India, Maharashtra has a lot to contribute and therefore I would welcome Chinese expertise and investments in this sector.

With all this, this news can become three new Foxconn factories differentiated in the country, a pair dedicated almost exclusively to product assembly and a third for R&D.

For you Apple has a bad relationship with the government of India and directly they would not be able to take one of their factories there, but if Foxconn does it is different, so they will be the ones who negotiate with the competent authorities. India has many factories in its country, worse none dedicated to Apple. Now if these negotiations go ahead, it is possible that a product will arrive with the firm: Designed in California, assembled in India.
