Get 6 months free on Apple TV + if you have a PlayStation 5

Apple and Sony continue to collaborate together. We already know that the Japanese company is recoding many of its franchise games from the PlayStation, to launch them next year on iOS and iPadOS. And now Apple wants to promote the Apple TV + app on the PS5 by giving away 6 months subscription.

So if you are one of the lucky few (including myself) to own a PS5, install the Apple TV + app on the console, log in with your Apple ID, and you will automatically have 6 months of free subscription.

On the eve of the premiere of the second season of Ted Lasso in Apple TV +, Apple has partnered with Sony to offer PlayStation 5 users a six-month free trial of Apple TV +. It's not bad at all.

The Apple TV + app debuted on the PlayStation and Xbox consoles in November of last year, allowing users of those game consoles to log into their Apple ID and access to Apple's library of movies and TV shows to buy or rent, Apple TV channels, and original Apple TV + content.

Although Apple has withdrawn the offer of a free year of Apple TV + associated with purchases of its own hardware, it is closing agreements with other companies to offer free subscriptions for a limited period of time.

Today Apple has launched an offer on PlayStation. If you have a PS5, you can log into the console's Apple TV app and you'll get a free 6-month Apple TV + subscription. This offer is available to new or existing customers, including those who are already taking advantage of a free trial.

The offer will be available from now until julio de 2022. Valid for owners of either of the two PS5 models. Full terms can be found in the websites de Sony.
