The glass cube of the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue is gone

It seems that the works in the Apple Store on Fifth Avenue in New York are continuing and have already dismantled the mythical glass cube at the entrance. The works that have been underway since last January to leave the emblematic store completely remodeled inside, required the disassembly of the glass cube at the entrance and some users have taken photos of the top of the building located next to the store exposing the current state of the exterior.

Throughout its history the cube designed by Apple CEO Steve Jobs himself, and that is located above the store in the south-east corner of Central Park and that occupies the space between the fifth avenue, the streets, 58 and 59, has been the place of pilgrimage of many Apple users and visitors to the city who have wanted to go through the store. Now the store is in the process of renovation and what we can see in this image is how they have dismantled the mythical glass cube that we find in the access of the store.

Just changing this part of the store amounts to 2 million dollars and inside it is expected that the changes will make the store much more modern, in the style of the new ones with the option of trying on accessories, charging our devices and more. On the other hand, the size of the store for users will be expanded and with more space for devices, generally speaking an interesting change that may take a while to be completed. On this issue there is no scheduled date and at the moment the users of this store have an open store a few meters away to be able to buy or carry out any type of management in it.
