Google Home and Home Mini will arrive in Spain throughout this year, like the Amazon Echo

Sometimes Apple shows a lack of interest or sloppiness that we cannot understand. The most recent and most striking case is found in the HomePod, the speaker that is not described as intelligent but that all users want it to be. The main reason seems to be something we all know: Siri is still very green.

Siri was officially presented with the iPhone 4s, more than five years ago, but since now the evolution that Apple's assistant has had has been minimal, despite the promises that Apple year after year at WWDC. Since now, the rest of the "greats" have had time to create and launch their own assistants, assistants that give Siri a thousand turns on most occasions.

The neglect on the part of Apple with Siri, has caused something that many users did not think And it was that both Google and Amazon could launch their smart speakers in other non-English-speaking markets before Apple. A few days ago, La Vanguardia published an article in which we read that the launch of the Amazon Echo, in its different variants, in Spain was very close.

Today we wake up with the news that we can read in VentureBeat, where they state that Google to launch Google Home and Google Home Mini in Spain, Mexico, Denmark, Norway, South Korea and Sweden throughout this year, thus expanding the number of countries in which it is available. During the Google I / O that was held yesterday, Google announced new improvements in its assistants, in addition to adding new languages and new voices.

The number of countries where HomePod is available is currently limited to 3: United States, United Kingdom and Australia. We do not know if during WWDC to be held at the beginning of June, the Cupertino-based company will announce the availability of its speaker in other countries, and thus be able to satisfy users who want to enjoy a smart speaker, now that both Amazon and Google have confirmed their international expansion.
