'Handwashing' text layout changed in watchOS 7.2

Hand washing

It is possible that more than one noticed the detail after the installation of the new version of watchOS 7.2 that in the function «Handwashing» a different design is shown to us in the final text of the action.

Previously, the text appeared with a design similar to that of the countdown numbers themselves, but this has changed in the latest available version of the system released by Apple. It is not something that changes the operation of the tool or similar, it is simply a small change in the design of the text that is now flat.

The upper capture shows us the current design and although it does not affect the operation it shows us to what extent the Cupertino company focuses on the details of its new versions. In this case, and personally speaking, I liked the previous typeface better with the same design as the countdown itself, but to taste the colors.

We can activate or deactivate this function from the Watch application within our iPhone and there we can configure the notifications themselves, if we want to activate or not this timer of 20 seconds automatically when performing the action of washing our hands or even if we want it to the Apple Watch itself reminds us that we have to wash our hands. This action really seems created to measure for the times we live in but according to Apple it was something that they had already planned to include in their Apple Watch a long time ago. Remember to wash your hands frequently to avoid problems with COVID-19 and other viruses.
