In the last hours the number of rumors related to the 5th generation Apple TV has increased, an Apple TV that will not only offer us compatibility with 4k HDR content, but also inside we find completely new hardware. This new Apple TV will be managed by the same processor that we find in the last generation iPad Pro, A10x Fusion, a processor that will be accompanied by 3 GB of RAM.
Changes at the aesthetic level it seems that we are not going to find, at least in regard to the box. What if you will receive changes will be the Siri Remote, a remote that will integrate haptic feedback, like the Apple Watch, the new trackpad of the MacBook, the screen of the iPhone 6s and 7 as well as the home button of the iPhone 7.

As the developer Guilherme Rambo has been able to find out, in the lines of code that he has found in the iOS 11 GM that was leaked on Saturday morning, the Siri remote will respond with small vibrations every time we press the buttons, buttons that this time could stop being physical and become like the one found on the home button of the iPhone 7, where the mechanism has completely disappeared. Changing the mechanism could allow the thickness of the Siri Remote to be further reduced if possible.
Haptic feedback is designed to provide tactile feedback when interacting with the product, so that the user knows at all times that he has correctly received the order to put it into operation. Everything seems to indicate that Apple wants all the physical buttons to completely disappear from each and every one of its products, at least in all those devices where their disappearance is feasible without being a nuisance for the user. I doubt very much that the volume control of the iPhone will ever offer this haptic system, since it would be a real nuisance to feel our ear vibrating when we are talking on the phone and we have to raise or lower the volume.
