Hello 16 ”MacBook Pro; Goodbye 15 ”MacBook Pro

16-inch MacBook Pro

Yesterday Apple presented and released the new 16-inch MacBook Pro, of which there are already many videos and information. With this new release, Apple has created the laptop with the largest screen yet. Good news, especially the renewal of the Mac range, It seems that the company had it a little neglected.

However, with this very good news, there comes one that is not so good. The 15-inch MacBook Pro has been discontinued and can no longer be purchased in Apple stores. You may still be able to get one from other distributors. Although at the moment they maintain the same price.

You can no longer buy the 15-inch MacBook Pro

With the launch of Apple's new laptop, the immediately previous model, the 15-inch, has been discontinued. It is normal, but what is not so normal is that this model is no longer for sale. Apple could have kept both models for a while.

If Apple had kept both models on sale, as it has done with some iPhone models, sales may have risen for Apple. However, this has not been the case, and the American company has decided that, at least, in their stores, you can't buy the 15-inch model.

On the other hand, This move by Apple is good news because it means that the company wants to renew the Mac, without looking back. That is, he does not want two similar models on the market, which basically and being objective, differ little. The screen, the speakers and little else.

What is an inconvenience is for those who bought the 15-inch computer, which has not been on the market for too long. Probably, if they had known, surely they would have waited to buy a newer model with more screen.
