Hide and show apps purchased from the Mac App Store

hide-1

Today we will see how to hide our purchases so that they are not visible and also how to recover the applications again to see them again in the shopping list in a very simple and simple way on OS X. It is possible that you do not want anyone to know what you buy if they access the store of your Mac or you simply do not like to always see the applications in the purchase history.

Once the applications are hidden from view, recovering the applications so that they are shown again in our shopping list may seem like a difficult or complicated task to perform, but nothing is further from the truth. Let's see with a few simple steps how to make all the 'hidden' applications come out again on our shopping list ...

Hide the apps:

To hide the purchased applications we have to do right click Mouse over the application in the Mac App store shopping list and a small window will appear asking us if we really want to hide the application and hide it. With this we will see how the application disappears and we will have the task done.

Redisplay applications:

Once the purchased application is hidden, we only have to click with the mouse in the main window of the Mac App Store where it says 'Your account':

Now it will ask us to put our iTunes account data -name and password- we type them and we will see that our account information appears and a section that says iTunes in the cloud and View hidden purchases> click on 'see hidden purchases'….

and all the applications that we have hidden will appear, we just have to click on 'To show' and we will have the application again in our shopping list in the Mac App Store.
