How to turn on discreet notifications on Apple Watch

Apple Watch Water

When we receive a notification on our Apple Watch we can manage it to our liking so that it is not annoying and that is achieved with each of the applications that send us notifications, so we have to manage it manually and with each of them. Discreet notifications, appears on our Apple Watch when we slide over a notification to the left on the same screen of the Apple Watch and with it we manage to deactivate the sounds or notifications with vibration of the app in question.

Change the way you receive notifications on Apple Watch

This can be done directly from the Watch application itself that we find on the iPhone and then directly accessing the menu of the application itself, but to make it simpler and faster we can do it directly from your own notification when it reaches the Apple Watch.

Discreet notifications

In the event that the notification is no longer visible on the clock we can swipe the watch face from top to bottom or press and hold the top from the screen. Now the notifications that we have available on the watch appear and we can access the menu so that they become "Discreet notifications".

  • We slide to the left in the notification and click on the three points that appear
  • We click on Notify discreetly and from that moment the notifications for that app will go directly to the Notification Center on both the Apple Watch and the iPhone, so it will stop emitting a sound or vibration
  • If you no longer want to receive notifications from that app, all you have to do is click on the "Deactivate on Apple Watch" button

To see or hear these notifications again in case we want to undo it we have to slide our finger to the left over a notification from this application and press again on the three points, click on the Notify Visibly option and everything will be as before.
