Surely more than one of you is receiving unwanted emails, advertising or even some that try to steal our information. Well, today we will see the Mail option that allows us directly and with a simple click block a contact.
To perform this action it is necessary to have the latest version of Apple's operating system installed, so macOS Catalina is required Although it is true that the version we are in does not matter since this option appears in all versions of Catalina as a novelty.
The steps are very simple and any user can carry out this action. All we have to do is access the email they sent us and click on the drop-down arrow (or right button) to get the options just above the sender's name:
Once we carry out the action of «Block contact», the following message will appear: «This message is from a blocked sender«. Now we will not receive any more emails from this user. When the blocking message appears we can click on "Preferences" just to the right and we will see all the blocked contacts, even the phone numbers that we have blocked from the iPhone as long as we use the same Apple ID, of course. In this way we will stop receiving emails from this sender.
A simple way to block without too much effort all those email addresses that do not interest us and that after having unsubscribed continue to send emails. Obviously, if we want to receive emails from that sender again, we can carry out the steps in reverse or directly access the Mail preferences and there in contacts remove from the list the blocked address that we want.
