safari

The OS X web browser is as you all know Safari, it is receiving improvements in each update released by Apple and for all of us who use it as the default browser, it offers us several configurable options to help us when we search the web.

This is the case of the Autofill option, which has existed since the first versions of Safari and can make our work much easier if we visit a web page daily, in addition to allowing us to autofill our data in forms and even store registration passwords for our favorite web pages. . But it may also be that for some of you these options become annoying, and that is why today we will see how to edit, disable or enable these options of Safari.

It is very simple to modify to our liking and I am sure that many of you will already know the process to access the menu. This menu offers us three options available: Edit the use of the information in our contact card, edit our user names and other forms, let's see what we can do with each of them.

Use the information from my Contacts card

If we click on Edit, the option will take us to the contacts application and we can modify our name, address, telephone, email, etc. This auto-fill option is usually used when the web page we are visiting requires our personal data to fill in a form and we have the possibility of adding them quickly and efficiently.

Usernames and passwords

This auto-fill option is the one that stores each and every one of the users and passwords that we previously accept that Safari will save. If we click on edit, we can delete some that we no longer use, all at once or even allows us to see the password of the stored page.

Other forms

The last option in the menu consists of autofilling for a search in the explorer bar, this activated option makes our work easier when we search for a specific page by filling in the name of the page automatically by just pressing the first two letters of the website.

All these options can be activated or deactivated according to what suits us or likes from the safari configuration menu, to access it we open Safari, click on Preferences and then on Autofill.

    Hola!
A few months ago I deactivated the autofill for all the accounts that I have on Twitter and now I can't find where I did it, and I wanted to activate it again ... Although I have it authorized in both the keychain and in the Safari preferences, it still does not work ... I remember it I did specifically somewhere, deleting those options only for Twitter ... But I don't remember ... If you can help me, I appreciate it!
