How to disable suggested contacts in OS X

About-mail-contacts-0

Apple is trying to improve the performance of spotlight in general, not only on iOS but also on OS X, hence little by little are hiring staff specialized in artificial intelligence. The intelligence of iOS and OS X is now proactive, that is, it searches and searches our device to try to offer us information that may match what we are really looking for. For example, if we receive a call from a number that we do not have in the agenda, both iOS and OS X will try to identify it among our emails or messages, to achieve it.

Suggested contacts is another of the new functions that both iOS and OS X present to us as a novelty in both versions. We often receive many emails, which depending on the use we make of it, can be interesting or simply garbage. OS X with Spotlight takes into account every possible new contact and when we want to send an email or make a call, by entering the name of the contact, it shows us suggestions that could match the person we are looking for.

At first it may be fine, especially if, for example, you receive a lot of emails from a certain Juan García and on the agenda you have more than 10 people with the name Juan. At that moment OS X will show us first the Juan Garcia of the emails, because in theory it must be the person we want to contact by mail or phone, due to the traffic that Spotlight has detected between them.

But also You may not like this feature and want to disable it. As in iOS, we can disable this option. For this we must follow the following steps:
