Why does error 3194 appear when updating / restoring our iOS device?
The reasons why you can skip this error in iTunes when updating or restoring can be diverse. Let's see:

This may just be due to something temporary due to having our Wi-Fi “on top” and after a few minutes it is solved, or something more complicated like that the connection is being blocked, redirected, or interrupted by security software, new entries in the hosts file, or other third-party software.
- Or maybe we just don't have iTunes updated to its latest version.
- Or maybe you are trying to downgrade to an older version of iOS firmware that is no longer signed by Apple.

So what is the solution to error 3194?
As is logical, we will start with the simplest, check that iTunes is updated to the latest version. We will do this by clicking on the Apple on the top bar → Software Update. If no update appears, we go to the next step; If, on the contrary, an update for iTunes appears, we proceed to update and retry the update or restoration of our iDevice.
If you are trying to downgrade to a previous version of iOS, make sure that Apple still continues to sign it, otherwise it will be impossible for you to continue, at least officially, since when the software verification process starts, the Apple servers will do so. they will reject.
If after updating iTunes, or if it turns out that we already had iTunes updated, the problem persists and you have a TCP / IP filtering mechanism, firewall or security software installed on your computer, check that it is correctly configured or uninstall it temporarily.
