How to improve menu display on Apple TV

Apple has always taken special care when designing its devices. We just have to go through the Accessibility menu of our iPhone or iPad where we can find the settings that we can modify to users with vision, hearing or interaction problems. These types of adjustments have also been carried over, at least in part, to Apple TV.

Controlling Apple TV is very easy thanks to the new Siri Remote, unless we have certain vision problems or it is simply difficult for us to differentiate to simple dress where the cursor is on the screen of our television.

Thanks to the Accessibility settings we can add a box to the cursor to find it in an easier way if we have difficulty finding it. In the next tutorial we are going to show you how we can improve the display of the menus on the Apple TV for all those users who have vision problems.

Reduce transparency on Apple TV

  • We head up Settings.
  • Within Settings, click on General.
  • Now we have to search for Accessibility> Increase contrast.
  • Now we have to activate Reduce transparency to reduce transparencies in the background of Apple TV menus.

Reduce menu movement on Apple TV

  • Within Settings we go to General.
  • Within General we look for the option Accessibility and we deactivate Reduce movement. This will reduce the movement of icons, movie / series images displayed on the home screen, and other device menu items. From this moment on, no type of animation will be shown when we move through the different menus.

If these options continue to improve the display of the device menus, we can still choose to change the background color of the menu and by using the bold as a text source.
