How to locate merchants with Apple Pay support from Mac

Surely many of you, like me, did not know the option to see the stores that accept Apple Pay and it is also certain that the main reason is that in Spain and many other countries where you read us, the Apple service is not active for pay with this option. Obviously Apple is rushing its launch to new countries and little by little this payment option is spreading throughout the world and even itself Apple CEO confirmed that Apple Pay would arrive in Spain next year.

Now we are not going to talk about the arrival of Apple Pay because there is no specific date for it despite the fact that it will be during the next year and when the time comes to use it we may not be clear if that business has the service available. Today we are going to see how to discover these stores where payment through Apple Pay is allowed thanks to the Maps application in OS X.

It is easy to discover and the first step we have to do is open the Apple Maps application on our Mac. Once open, what we will look for is the store where we are going to make purchases and press the «i» button and look for the  Pay logo in the information that appears. If this appears in the store we will not have problems making our purchase with the Apple service. This is the example:

In any case, not all businesses are compatible with Appl Pay and for this reason Apple itself mentions some of them and in the case of London they are the following:

Another detail to take into account is that within the stores that Apple announces available the payment option with Pay sometimes they do not appear in the place we are seeing in the Maps application from OS X or iOS. This may be because the place itself does not really accept the payment method or even because the information in Maps is not updated.
