How to pair a Bluetooth headset to the new Apple TV

Apple-tv-with-remote

One of the main novelties of the new Apple TV that Apple has put on the market a few months ago is the possibility of being able to link with the same headphones with Bluetooth technology. This is quite a breakthrough since now We can now enjoy the content that it offers us without disturbing other people.

When I say annoy other people I mean that if we want to be watching our favorite movie or series on our last generation OLED TV by Apple TV we will not have to watch it with the volume set to the minimum in case of playing them at night.

My particular case is a variant of the one I have shown you and that is that what I have done is put a small LED projector in the room to which I have connected the new Apple TV via HDMI. That is why when I want to enjoy a movie on the screen of more than 120 inches that projects on the wall I needed the use of Bluetooth headphones.

Older versions of Apple TV do not have this option and when the current version of it came I have seen the heavens open. Now, some time after purchasing the 64GB fourth-generation Apple TV, I have been able to get a pair of Beats Bluetooth headphones. When I say a couple it is because I am not going to leave my partner looking at me when we are watching a movie, hehehe.

Well, now that you know the little story of using Bluetooth headphones on Apple TV, I can tell you that the steps you have to follow to connect the headphones to Apple TV are the following:

  • Turn on both the television-projector and the Apple TV.
  • Now navigate through the Apple TV menus to Controls and devices.

Menu-AppleTV-Remotes-and- devices

  • Now we go into Bluetooth to pair the headphones.

Menu-AppleTV-Controls-bluetooth

  • Select the name of your headphones.

Menu-AppleTV-select-device

Menu-AppleTV

  • Now you go back to the home screen and enter Settings> Audio and video> Audio output and select the bluetooth headset you have paired.

As you can see, what we have done is a classic pairing of a Bluetooth audio device.

I am struck by your comment about the pair of headphones, were you able to pair the two at the same time? Does that option work correctly?
