How to print or save our PDF Calendar for Mac

Calendar

Today we are going to see how you can print your calendar from the Mac directly in a simple and very fast way. It may be that you need it to share with someone or simply that you need it to hang in your office, you can also share it by email, messages or whatever you want once we have the PDF on our Mac.

It is a simple function that has been available for some time in different versions of macOS and that allows us to have our calendar in this format so that we can review it at any time from anywhere, without having to enter the calendar application.

We are not going to beat around the bush and although there are several ways to perform this function, we are going to focus on one. A keyboard shortcut opens the doors for us to export our calendar from Mac to PDF, so let's see the steps:

  • We open the Calendar on our Mac
  • We press the keyboard shortcut cmd + P
  • Click on Continue (even if we don't have a printer connected)

We print in the case of wanting to do it and if we cannot save on the Mac by clicking on the option «Save document as PDF» (lower left tab). This option is interesting but we can also use the Command keyboard shortcut plus the (P) key in other situations, so it is possible to print or create a PDF from a document on a website or practically anywhere. Remember that this function allows you to convert any content to PDF, save as PostScript or even open in Preview.
