How to rotate vertically recorded videos from your Mac with QuickTime Player

edit-videos-3

This is something that many people usually do when they record a video with their smartphone, either out of habit or for any other reason. A vertical photo is not a problem when we want to view it on a television, computer or similar, but a vertical video would not be the right thing to do. Be careful, with this I do not mean how the videos have to be recorded since everyone can do it how they want, but the normal thing is that they are horizontal to take advantage of the entire screen when we play it on a larger screen.

Today we are going to see how to rotate videos recorded vertically with an old acquaintance that we find on Mac, Quicktime Player. Following a few simple steps we will be able to edit these videos recorded with the smartphone vertically and turn them horizontal easily.

Well the first thing we have to do is download the video on our Mac and open QuickTime Player. Now the process is simple and what we have to do is edit the video from the Edit option offered by this software. Now we only have click on Turn to ... And wait for the process to finish:

This is the video shot vertically:

And this is the video already rotated horizontally:

Obviously these are images, but it is for you to see the result. On the other hand, also comment that all the videos can be rotated to the left, to the right and we can even flip the videos horizontally and vertically. Now you know how to edit any video recorded vertically and how easy it is to be able to reproduce it better on a larger screen.

Years ago I observed that with the videos of the iPhone, and one day on the Mac I started to see and I found the option, quite good by the way

Hello, quicktime does not give me that option, could it be that it is very old? or is it the paid version that does that? any other way other than quicktime?
