How to search the Notes app on your iPhone or iPad

If you are looking for a particular note, you can search within the folders you have created in the Notes application. But what if what you want or need is to search through all the notes in the application in one go? This is also very easy to do, you just have to use the Spotlight Search which you can access by sliding your finger from top to bottom from the center of any of the home screens of your iPhone or iPad.

For this to be able to perform a search through all your Notes, you must first make sure that the application is activated in Search for Spotlight. First of all, open the Settings app on your iOS device and click on the General section.

Select "Spotlight Search" and on the next screen, scroll down until you find the Notes app. If it is not activated, click on the slider that you will see on the right to do so.

From this moment, every time you swipe your finger to the right from the home screen to open Spotlight Search, and enter any term present in the content of one of your Notes, Spotlight will be able to find that content and show you the Note in question within your search results. By clicking on this result you can directly access the Note that interests you.
