How to see all your iCloud photos on your Mac and other Apple devices

iCloud Drive

One of the options that we have available in iCloud is to be able to see all the photos that we have in the Apple cloud from any device, even from a Windows PC. In short, access to our entire gallery all you need is contracted space, since obviously with the 5GB that they give us is not sufficient. But once we have a contracted data plan, it is easy to access and view all the images and videos from any computer, today we will see how to access them.

How to activate Photos in iCloud

First of all we have to have the function activated to be able to see the photos on all the devices we have and for this you have to follow these previous steps:

  • On the Mac, go to System Preferences> Apple ID. Click iCloud in the sidebar and then select Photos. If you have an older version of macOS, go to System Preferences> iCloud. Click Options next to Photos, and then select iCloud Photos.
  • On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings> [your name]> iCloud> Photos and turn on iCloud Photos.
  • On Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD, go to Settings> Users & Accounts> iCloud. Then turn on Photos in iCloud.
  • On a Windows PC, our advice is to use iCloud.com.

Once active it is simple and Apple itself leaves us a video sample on your YouTube channel so that we can see how to access or edit photos from any Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, etc ...

Now seeing how simple it is to share and view photos in iCloud all you have to do is expand your storage plan so that all your photos and backups fit into your cloud plan.
