Synchronization through the Wi-Fi network of iOS devices is a good way to sync all data, images, music, etc. without having to connect the device cable to our Mac, for this we only need iOS and a Mac or PC.
In this article, we will see how solve possible problems that we can have when we want to synchronize the data by wifi to our Mac, following a few simple steps we can take advantage of this efficient way of transferring data between Apple devices; In the event that it does not work for us or we have doubts about how to do it, today we will see the possible solutions.
This is one of the best features of iOS, synchronization through our Wi-Fi network, which, as its name suggests, allows us to synchronize all content such as data, images, music, etc., to and from an iPhone, iPad or iPod touch to a computer with iTunes installed, all without connecting the device using the USB cable.
Of course, this function is only useful when we are working on the same wifi network, but it seems that some users have some problem to synchronize with this method either because the device refuses to appear in our iTunes or because it disappears immediately after trying to synchronize. The solution that we present below to solve these problems is very simple and usually works in most cases.
Before we start, we have to make sure we already have synchronization enabled with iOS via wifi and we can see this in the «Summary» tab of our iTunes, at the bottom of the screen:
The main reason why our wireless sync does not work is usually because this box was not checked in iTunes. This only needs to be done once and then it will be marked forever (until we mark it again), but we must mark it separately with each iOS device that we want to synchronize by wifi.
Well now let's see the possible solutions of mistake, in the event that we have all of the above well and still not working.
The wifi sync does not appear in iTunes
The solution for when the wireless synchronization does not work for us and the devices do not appear in iTunes, it is almost always kill process Apple Mobile Device Helper, both on OS X and Windows.
Detail of the steps to follow, for Mac OS X:
- We close iTunes
- We launch the "Activity Monitor" (found in / Applications / Utilities /)
- Use the search box in the upper right corner and type "AppleMobileDeviceHelper"
- We select the process to eliminate and click on the red button «Exit the process»
- We exit the Activity Monitor and then we start iTunes again
With these simple steps, our iDevice will appear in iTunes reflected and we can use this method and take advantage of the advantages offered by synchronization through Wifi.

Updated Itunes last Monday, or Tuesday and that process does not even appear in the activity monitor. Checked the sync boxes for WIFI for both Iphone and Ipad. Find the devices when you want.
Something that also happens is that, when I am with the Iphone, the Ipad and the Imac on the same desk, or the phone or the tablet, they lose the WIFI connection. Things for which I ended up fed up with Windows and PC and that are also beginning to occur with Apple.
You must have something wrong with the local network or with your devices. I always work with my iPad, iPhone and iMac on the same table and I have no problems with the WiFi.

Like so many other entries by Jordi Giménez, the article is literally taken from OSXDaily without even a mention of the source. I add it, because "sure" it has passed: http://osxdaily.com/2013/02/17/wi-fi-sync-not-working-fix-ios/
As I answered you in another article in which you have made the same "accusation", if an article is worked from beginning to end by oneself, I do not see the reason why any source should be mentioned. The captures are created by the editor, the text is his ... should we add as a source all the articles that we find on the internet with the same topic?
It simply does not seem ethical to me not to give recognition to the blog from which, clearly, it is clear where the article came from. Indeed, there are many similar topics on the internet, but as I say, it is common to see how it appears on OSXDaily and shortly after (hours or a few days), on this blog, always by the same author. As an example, this same entry, the one from OSXDaily is from February 17, and the one from Jordi Giménez, from the 18th... Too many coincidences, don't you think? That's why I'm just saying, as a regular Soy De Mac For months now, it doesn't cost anything to cite the source when you clearly use it constantly for the entries you sign on your behalf.
I do not share your opinion, if an article is written by me, with my images and my own text, I do not have to cite any source. As is normal, everything is explained on the net. Sure there are other articles published before OS X Daily that explain the same thing. It would not be ethical to make a paste copy, or to use their images without mentioning the source, but we are not talking about that, the article is completely different, they only have the theme in common.

I already said what I had to say in your other comment similar to this one, thanks for your contribution to the tutorial.
All the best
Can anyone help me sync my I Phone 6 with I Tunes? I press Apply or Synchronize and it tells me that the computer is no longer authorized. I go to shop and authorize it. It indicates to me that it is authorized. Restart I Tunes. Restart the computer. Try it again.
The same. "The computer is no longer authorized ...", etc. I resort to I Tunes Support, Apple, I Phone ... and nothing. As inefficient and useless as ever.
Thanks in advance
