How to watch Netflix or Disney + on MacOS?

Disney +

It may seem like an absurd question at first. As streaming platforms have not yet created a native app for MacOS, the most common option that comes to mind is to open the browser and enter the streaming platform in turn. However, this process can be tedious if we end up doing it every time we want to access the video on demand platform. Is there any way we can shorten it?

The answer is yes. One of the most common options is the Apple TV. This device contains the applications of the main streaming platforms on the market such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, HBO or Disney +, which is why it serves as a multimedia player for these contents.

Beyond the well-known Apple TV, there is another way, perhaps less well known, through which you can also watch series, movies, documentaries or simply videos. This is the DBK Labs service that has a set of applications, of which Clicker is the main one. Currently there Clicker application for each of the following platforms or web services:

  • Netflix
  • Amazon Prime Video
  • Disney+
  • Hulu
  • HBO Max
  • Youtube
  • Youtube tv

To be able to access, what you have to do is enter the App Store and download the Clicker application you want separatelyWhether, for example, Netflix to watch series like Lupine or The Innocent, or Disney + to commemorate childhood with Disney classics.

Keep in mind that downloading these applications carries an economic cost, except Disney + which is the only free one. For their part, Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu and Youtube TV cost € 6,89; HBO Max is priced at € 8,34 and the most expensive is Youtube for € 8,49.

After all, these applications are streaming content players that will be available directly on the Mac. And this is so because, for the moment, there is no video on demand platform that has made a native application for Mac as they are available on smartphones or on the iPad. In these cases, it is enough to download the Netflix, HBO or Amazon Prime application directly, among others. In MacOS, what is available in the musical field is the Spotify application.
