iBooks for Mac, a must

We have the App Store in the iDevices and also in Mac OS X, so seeing how the competition (Amazon) spends them with their Kindle, the logical thing would be for Apple to do a little bit of their part sooner or later.

The iBooks application needs to reach Mac OS X to reinforce its presence, and that is if Apple wants to give importance to its book store it can't just limit us to iPhone and iPad when we have Kindle apps on all platforms, making the Amazon option more attractive.

Anyway it is a movement that I do not see close, although knowing Apple, the least expected day we open the App Store and we have iBooks.

I agree with you, it is really a frustration not being able to have iBooks on Macs, the rest of the programs are too uncomfortable!

I have downloaded books with ITunes on the Mac and it won't let me read them. Is very bad. I hope that today in the supposed presentation of this software to develop ePub they contemplate a solution to this shame.
