As has happened on other occasions, sometimes we find out from Apple itself and on other occasions we find out from users who notify us and that is that Apple has created a new application for Apple TV which it has called iBooks Story Time in which the smallest of the house will be able to practice linguistic competence.
It is an application for the new Apple TV that connects directly to our iBooks account in such a way that we will be able to enjoy the Read-Aloud books being the same compatible with the Siri Remote, taking another step to comprehensive reading for the little ones.
Undoubtedly, it is a very good option for homes where we have children of the age to develop linguistic competence, since reading animated books with sounds becomes more enjoyable and fun than other types of books at those ages. I am a believer that the charm of a paper book should never be lost, but I am also a believer in enriched books with images, sounds and video which makes reading much more comprehensive at an early age.
As we have told you, this new application is called iBooks StoryTime and it is an application that will allow children to enjoy reading books with interactive audio as well as visual clues that will engage them and it will make them want to be in front of the television practicing reading.
iBooks StoryTime is already available for download from the tvOS store and for now we will be able to buy books from certain developers since it is a new tool the titles will adapt to it as the months go by.
