When analyzing the keyboard they have realized that there is plenty of space to house a bigger battery, but for safety reasons on flights, above all, this limit has been established.
However, looking at this space, you can guess that Apple has room for improvement for the new MacBook Pros of the future. It could even surprise us and that the RAM like the SSD, could be changed by the user. 😉
