Since its official introduction in June 2014, CarPlay technology, which allows us to control our iPhone directly from the multimedia center of our vehicle, is becoming a must have for all those users of Apple products who want to enjoy the content of their iPhone, without having to physically touch it, avoiding distractions behind the wheel.
CarPlay is currently an option in most manufacturers around the world and today, the number of applications or services available is still very small, despite the advantages and comfort that it offers us. The latest service that bets on this technology is iHeartRadio.
The iHeartRadio application offers us three different sections: Podcast Topics, a section where we have access to up to 18 categories among which we find comedy, music, games, science and technology ... We also find a section called Our Podcast, where we have access to the podcasts that we have previously downloaded to the device. Finally, the third section is called Continue playback, with which we can continue playing the last file we were listening to when we have disconnected the application, either when turning off the car or stopping it.
If what we like are podcasts, through CarPlay we have access to other applications compatible with this technology such as Stitcher or the renowned Overcast, one of the best applications to listen to our favorite podcast, and that offers us a large number of options that are not available in most players of this type.
iHearRadio is an Internet station founded in 2008 that offers us content from more than 800 local stations in the United States in addition to media such as Bloomberg. It is currently one of the most used applications both inside and outside the United States to be informed at all times of any type of news, thanks to its operation through the Internet.
