iMovie receives a new update, version 10.0.7

imovie

A new version of the popular Mac editing tool, iMovie, appears on the Mac App Store. This new version is 10.0.7 and it adds numerous changes and specific options for the new Photos application, which arrived in the previous beta version of OS X Yosemite and which is coming to stay in the not too distant future.

The iMovie application has suffered some long-standing changes and now in addition to the typical bug fixes and tool stability, an improvement in menu navigation has been added thanks to the play-pause, previous-next and full screen buttons that are always visible under the viewer and some improvements plus.

Another novelty added is that now we have a simpler and more effective access to add our narrations in the videos Thanks to the option to “Record voice over”, this option is also found under the viewer and makes it easier for us to access it. Also highlighted in this new version of iMovie is the Sony XAVC-S format support.

In short, a series of changes that as long as they are to improve are welcome and that this time it seems that it is. Remember that to install this new version you need to be on OS X 10.10.2 or higher. If for some reason this update does not appear automatically, you can access it through the  menu > App Store or directly entering the Updates tab in the Mac Ap Store on your Mac.
