In the new version of macOS, performance will prevail over new features

macOS Server spring 2018 update

At the beginning of the fiscal year, the companies focus on publicizing the news in products that we will see throughout the year. And one of the novelties that generates the most expectation is the presentation of new software.

In the case of Apple, we know the news at the developer conference that is usually held in June and is available to users in September. But the rumors about the news of the new operating system, start practically from the moment the previous version comes to light. But the rumors intensify between January and June.

On this occasion, the Bloomberg journalist, Mark Gurman, announce that the next version of macOS will place a special emphasis on bug fixes, performance improvements, and overall stability of the operating system, in front of a great number of novelties.

Gurman's information corroborates previous information published by Ina Fried at Axios, which claimed that the Apple executive, Craig Federighi, had transferred his employees during a meeting held earlier in the month.

This strategy would be shared with iOS, to perfect the system. Instead, other growing systems, watchOS and tvOS, will incorporate significant new features

The company moved its software engineering groups, the change, earlier this month. The change will also affect this year's Mac update, but to a lesser degree… planned updates for Apple Watch and Apple TV software will not be affected.

The constant updates of the system due to important vulnerabilities discovered by users, could have changed Apple's plans at the last minute. High Sierra should have improved and refined Sierra, but at the same time, Apple has made improvements to the internal programming of the operating system. Not all these changes carried out have borne the expected fruit, leaving some failures in the system. MacOS is an optimized system and therefore, you can allocate resources to improve the overall security of the system.
