Indeed, the Gear S2 will be compatible with iOS being a real competition from the Apple Watch

Not the first time we talk about this topic and it is that we had already told you that Samsung was working hard to make the Gear S2 compatible with iOS devices. In this way what they would achieve is that their clocks became in a real Apple Watch competition from Samsung.

Right now the Apple Watch are the watches that can be paired with iOS devices, more specifically with the iPhone, which is going to change, according to the statement that Samsung has given at CES 2016.

Samsung has confirmed, officially, that before the end of this new year iPhone users will be able to use a Gear S2 instead of an Apple Watch. This is a very delicate subject even more when we know that Apple Watch sales have not been what Apple expected.

Yes, we already know that Apple has not given figures in this regard but there are already many data that surf the net that assure that sales have been much lower than expected. Proof of this are the continuous campaigns that it is putting Apple on the table regarding the Apple Watch.

We'll see if over time it is Apple itself that could also make its Apple Watch compatible with an Android application and thereby increase sales. What is clear is that CES 2016 is causing a lot of talk about Apple and that the company of the bitten apple has not participated in it for years.

Well, the Pebbles also pair with iPhone (and very well), so the Apple Watch would not be the only compatible with iPhone as it seems to be understood from the article
