Interesting version of Airmail 2.0.3

Undoubtedly when we talk about a mail manager or client for OS X Airmail comes to mind. Personally speaking I can say that after the native Apple that to this day I keep giving it a second chance, Airmail is my favorite application to manage mail.

It is one of the applications that once you try it you can no longer detach yourself from it and really in some aspects I still think it is the best. At the beginning of this month of January the application updated to version 2.0.3 and although some users report errors in the form of unexpected shutdowns with OS X Yosemite, the added improvements correct and solve some details in the search of emails and the crashes of the previous version.

The latest version of the tool solves a bug that I personally had experienced on my Mac and this was a problem in the email search bar that did not allow me to find the messages. Now this problem is solved and I will not lie if I tell you that I want to use this application for mail, but for now I will continue with the native Apple, since the work done by the Cupertino guys is still good.

In addition to the above, the new version fixes a Mac sleep issue affecting Google OAuth, an issue displaying messages, and several minor tweaks. I already said that at the moment I am using Apple Mail, but I do not rule out returning to AirMail.

And you What email manager do you use?

Since I tried this the native mail nor do I touch it, it is more I have done tests and I receive earlier the mail to airmail than to the native mail, I do not know why it will be, besides that the apple one seems to me as dull as I can, the thing that With yosemite I tried to give it a 4th chance as it happens with safari, but in the end I return to the good known.

From this update already days ago and it keeps crashing continuously.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled it and cow KK.
    It's a disaster, every 2 × 3 I have to force exit from Airmail 2.
I have been reducing the number of email accounts, from the 15 I had to 6 now and it continues to hang, several times a day.

The outlook, in the new version of Office 365 never fails, but the contacts are not synchronized with iCloud, nor are the calendars or agendas, because it is not useful for me, too much program to only manage the mail.
I don't like the mail from OS X.
Sparrow (Google) is no longer updated since 2012.
Mozilla Thunderbird? Well, there it is, it's not the prettiest but it's going well.
As for Mailbox, only gmail and iCloud accounts.
Is there one called Inbox? I don't remember well, but something was wrong with this one that didn't convince me.
A cool app is Unibox, but it's 20 euros and I don't know.

(I am one of those who pays for each and every one of the programs that I have installed on my macs)

I can't find a definitive email app, I trusted Airmail but I got a frog.
I remember that the first version of Airmail suited me well, I will try it again, but I think they no longer update it for Yosemite.
When the new Airmail came out, on the 2nd, I was finding out about other mail management apps, but in the end I bought the Airmail 2 version and that said, it goes awful.

What app, Airmail roll, do you advise me?

    Hello!

Well, I have the latest version of airmail with yosemite and 5 accounts and it's fancy, it doesn't crash or crash.

Well, I don't know what to tell you, it doesn't work for me; I'm a Mac teacher and I know what I do.

I'm doing excellent with the synchronization of my 3 emails. The shipping, reception is very fast. So far I do not regret having bought it.

yes, yes, when it goes and does not stay "caught" it is very good, that's why I bought them (the 2 versions), but this version 2 gives me problems.

      Hello!

I am testing it to see if this version gives me errors, but in the day that I have been using it, not a problem. The truth is that Airmail is a spectacular email manager, but obviously it can have its flaws ... I will continue using it this week and I will already comment here

Franctastic besides Airmail you have other mail managers like: MailPilot, https://www.soydemac.com/2014/01/22/mail-pilot-ya-disponible-en-la-mac-app-store/ Mailplane, MailBox ... if you look a bit on the blog you will find them 😉

      hello Jordi.
      Mailplane is just gmail
      Mailbox gmail and icloud
mailpilot, 20 euros and 3-star ratings out of 5.

      Airmail 2 hangs on me.

      thanks and salut!

I hate the new design of Airmail, its square icons are really ugly (the flat does not bother me, the icons bother me) and that is why I continue to use the previous version.

    Hi all!
I am desperate, Airmail seemed the salvation and indeed, not only it hangs but it paralyzes the contacts and does not recognize them, small great disaster. I have tried the native Apple that, as I use my own domains, it does not work either backwards or forwards; not to mention how dull and ugly and unhelpful it is, it seems incredible that the truth is from Apple; and the office outlook for mac that does not stop asking me for passwords and, indeed, it does not help me to synchronize the calendar. Thunderbird is not the solution either. Sparrow is now Google's if I'm not mistaken and I'm afraid he died. Anyway, madness, there is not a day that I do not have to spend a lot of time on this problem. Now I manage with Airmail, when it does not hang and with the online outlook that is also super deficient, how is it possible that there is not a good email client? it's a real mess!

I use Thunderbirds without mess and all good

I have been using the native Apple for a long time, but the truth is that it falls short, with respect to what LHUM says, it is true that with emails from own domains the native application is an odyssey. Airmail I'm about to test it but seeing that 6 months ago some users were hanging, I prefer to wait for them to confirm about this problem.
