iRing: The elegant solution to the problem of using the iPhone as an iPod

All of us who have or know a little about the iPhone, iPhone 3G and iPod Touch know the usability problem that this precious device has when using it as an iPod since we do not have controls for volume, forward, back and Play / Pause that we don't have to look at them to get them right.

From Behance Network we have come across this wonder ...

… A beautiful ring available in black and white colors that has BlueTooth and that is capable of controlling any Apple device, be it an iPhone, an iPod Touch or a Mac.

In its lower part it has two buttons to block it (hold) and in the upper part those of Previous, Play / Pause and Next; by sliding your finger we control the volume as it can be read (English) on the reference website.

The only con at the moment is that it is not yet manufactured but everything will work.

Very nice, but this is just an idea, it is not available anywhere, it does not exist, modify the header so that there are no doubts.

That will be seen I doubt it, more than anything it is that it has existed for like 3 years and if it has not yet been created I doubt it will be done.

If you have a jailbroken iPod Touch / iPhone, try PocketTouch. It works for me even by touching the screen outside my pocket and I also use it in the car so I don't worry about looking for buttons. It has the basics: volume, back-forward and pause. And it works (tested by me) on Touch and iPhone 3G. Ah, it has a function to change songs by shaking the device too, something that I do not find so useful if the app is designed mainly to carry the gadget in your pocket.

The person who gave me the iRing page is involved in the project and says that if they get enough votes they will send it to manufacturing.

I highly doubt that it will work with an iPod Touch if the connection to that device is via Bluetooth. Whether it comes out or not ... it's a good invention.
