It is not a good idea to buy a Mac now

mac-all

This article is a personal reflection on update times for Macs, it is not something official from Apple, far from it. Once this has been clarified, I will say that it only works for the dates in which we are right now and that it will extend in my opinion until the month of June when we will be more clear about what the guys from Cupertino are going to present to us. In this last keynote of the month of March where the iPhone SE and the new 9,7-inch iPad Pro were introduced, I thought Apple would surprise us with a small 12 ″ MacBook makeover to celebrate its first anniversary, but it didn't.

None of this happened in the keynote and the Macs were conspicuous by their absence, but the next day the hearsay on the new MacBooks appeared to the fore. Apple did not shed any pledge on our beloved Macs, but the rumor mill arrived hours later and that is why I want to share my reflection on what the title mentions: it is not a good idea to buy a Mac now.

The entire Mac range is currently in the process of change, either because of the processors or even because of the possibility of seeing some aesthetic changes. Apple has been with Macs for too long as we know them today and although it is true that they have a beautiful design, this year they may modify or add something to their new Macs. But this is something that may remain in the background since the really important thing is the internal hardware and this is what is about to change.

iMac 21,5 retina-Ram soldered-64Gb-0

To catch up a bit the dates Apple released or updated The Macs are the following: iMac last October 2015 (with the added Retina of 21,5 ″) and this may be the only Mac we can consider buying right now, the MacBook Pro in May 2015, the MacBook 12 ″ in April of the same year, we can dedicate an article for the MacBook Air, the same Mac mini and the Mac Pro or MacBook Pro without Retina display are another story.

That said, everything is clear If you are in the situation of having to buy a Mac out of necessity or because you find it very well priced, go ahead with it, Since current Macs are very powerful machines and a safe purchase, but if you can take my advice is to do so.

Hello Surce, buying a Mac is always good and I am sure that this MacBook Air will give you many joys. What I'm trying to say is that users who plan to buy a Mac and do not need it urgently, then better wait for the new models to be presented.

These new Macs that I talk about in reflection may arrive in June or October, so buying a Mac right now is not a bad buy, far from it.

      Regards!

Do not misinterpret the article since it is said that any Mac is fine but if you can wait to spend the summer better. The MacBook Air works great

Hello kart, after reading your article last year, I get in touch with you because I am interested in buying a macbook air and from what I read it is better to wait for me. Why? Will anything better than 13 inches come out? I hope you can help me.

    Thanks in advance.
