iTunes Connect will close for 8 hours on April 22

It appears that Apple has maintenance to-dos scheduled for iTunes Connect on April 22 starting at 7:00 am (PDT), so all related services will not be available for approximately 8 hours from closing time. This is not the first time that Apple has made this type of maintenance shutdown, but it is true that it is not something usual except on the designated days of holidays such as Christmas or similar. In any case, the company informs us of this closure for Saturday, April 22.

All developers are warned of the closure by sending an email informing of the situation. This causes developers cannot update or modify their applications from the moment of closure to the opening of the service and you have to be careful not to get caught by an update or something similar at the time and date indicated. The following services will be affected:

  • Load accumulation application in Xcode
  • Application loader and altool
  • iTunes Connect
  • iTunes Connect Mobile
  • iTunes Producer
  • Transport

So we are all warned that during this maintenance period that will last in this case about 8 hours, developers will not be able to present new content or make changes to existing content, so you have to make sure that everything is ready for the hours before the closing date to avoid problems of any kind.
