The first thing we want to tell you with this that we are going to explain to you is that the folders of your different locations will be ordered and will be visible at the top of the Finder whenever you order by names; if you do it by date, size, etc. it will not work. That said, the steps are very simple. On many occasions we need to investigate something more among the options that macOS offers us. And one of them is this: keep the folders on top when we order by name.
Where do I find this option? Easy: click on "Finder" in the macOS Dock and in the menu bar, click on "Finder" again. Among the options that appear, give a mouse click on «Preferences». And in the last tab, the one that calls itself «Advanced» you will see that the last option that you can mark is "Keep folders up to computer by name". Ready, once marked, you can already try it in the folders you want. From now on these will appear as soon as you open a section of your Finder.
