One of the things I bought when I bought my 12-inch MacBook with the new type of keyboard that Apple has incorporated into their laptops was a rubber keyboard protector. I wanted the dust not to get into the grooves around the keys In addition to protecting the laptop from accidental liquid spills.
The protector who I purchased it simply sat on top of the keyboard without any type of anchor and was perfectly attached to it. However, one of the things that I realized over time is that the sensitivity of the keys decreased, as well as marks left on them from the type of plastic with which it had been made. so for fear of damaging the surface of the keys I ended up discarding it.
Now I have returned to the load and I have bought a new keyboard protector, this time from the Moshi brand. I decided to buy this protector because I was in awe of the screen protector that I installed a few months ago on my 12-inch MacBook screen.
Given the success of the screen protector and its quality, I have seen fit to give the keyboard protector a try. As soon as I took it out of the box I realized that it is very, very thin and does not lose the sensitivity of the keys. Another thing that I liked is that it has some stickers so that it is completely wet, so I predict a resounding success when I use it for the next few days.
Its price does not depend on the model that is selected and is that in all cases it costs 30 euros. Moshi's have it available for a wide range of Apple laptops.
