Finder-El Capitan-copy-0

The Mac Finder is not as versatile as a file manager to use when it comes to copying a file or the full path of the folder that contains it, a small burden that, for example, most users who come from Windows, miss this feature within OS X compared to Windows file explorer.

However, the fact that it is not so intuitive does not mean that the option is not there, that is, within OS X it has been enabled an interactive file path At the bottom of Finder windows, the full path is even displayed in the title bar of a window, but these display methods do not allow you to easily copy the full path of an item to the clipboard.

To locate a file go to Finder «all my files»; in searching if it remembers the name or positioning itself on a certain file in the list; right click on the file; a context menu appears; clicking on "Show folder containing it" opens another Finder window showing the complete path (location) of the file folders and sub folders

I do not know if it applies or contributes something to what Miguel Angel indicated.

I'm having trouble adding files to official online forms, "fakepath" appears before the address or location of the file. Does anyone know what to do?
