LG is making three new displays for Apple

Pro Display XDR

When Apple discontinued manufacture of the Thunderbolt Display in 2016, relied on LG to manufacture the new range of compatible monitors designed for Macs. However, these monitors did not live up to what might be expected from an LG product, much less from Apple.

Apple's solution was to design, again, its own monitor, the Pro Display XDR, a monitor within reach of very few pockets. According to the well-known leaker @dylandkt, LG has once again received the trust of Apple and is working on three new monitors.

According to this account, with a fairly high hit record When it comes to Apple product rumors, LG is making a new screen based on the current 24-inch iMac, one for the 27-inch iMac, and a new 32-inch model that could be the new Pro Display XDR monitor, but that Unlike the current one, it incorporates an Apple Silicon processor.

@dylandkt claims that the screens are currently without any logo on the outside, and that could go to Apple stores since they have similar features to the iMac and the Pro Display XDR monitor. It also claims that the 27-inch and 32-inch displays appear to use mini-LED technology with a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Mark Gurman claimed a few weeks ago that Apple I was working on a new screen for all budgets since the Pro Display XDR exceeds 5000 euros in Europe. That information seems to be confirmed if we pay attention to this new rumor.

This new rumor also confirms that previously shared by panel-making industry analyst Ross Young, who claimed that Apple could launch a new 27-inch iMac with miniLED display for the first half of 2022.
