Lightning charging and synchronization cable from Mipow company

One of the main sources of complaint from users of Apple devices is related to the charging and data synchronization cable, the Lightning cable now, the previous 30-pin and the MagSafe. The guys from Cupertino spoil a lot the devices they launch on the market in terms of quality of materials and others, but they have a weak point and this is related to the cables.

Many are the complaints that can be read on the internet about these charging cables and although there are always users who are really happy with the result and duration of their cables, the vast majority of us have suffered their breakage in a short period of time and without overly treating them badly.

In my case, I'm going to try third-party cables and hope they give me better results and I'll start with a Lightning cable from the Chinese company Mipow from a store that we all know, Gearbest. This time it is a cable that is totally compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod (MFi) and its price is less than half of what the original Apple costs.

I leave some photos and we went to see materials and my first impressions:

The truth is that this cable has two things that caught my attention and that was undoubtedly what made me decide to try it. The first is that the part of the Lightning connector is made of aluminum and the second is its LED indicator of charge, synchronization and end of charge. I have been using it for a couple of weeks and obviously everything is fine, I use it at home, in the car and for the perfect moment we will see over time. Another detail is that the USB part the piece of rubber that joins the cable and the connector is shorter and that prevents it from bending as much as Apple's and possibly lasting longer. The cable is priced at 11,59 euros, which allows the user to buy two charging cables compared to the original Apple.

It is best to leave a video where you can clearly see the LED in operation:

I am very clear that the cable must be carried everywhere if we travel or go by car, etc., obviously if the cable stays at home on the table or always connected to the wall we will not break it so easily, but What cannot be is that Apple does not improve and reinforce a little more this important accessory of our devices.

Hello how are you I have read your article and the truth is that the cable apparently looks good and having it in hand and trying it as you are doing it is how you can see the sensations that the material it is made of gives you and the reliability that it can give you give the cable.

Regardless of this news that you put, I would like to tell you something, you talk about the cable that you have bought on a page which you have previously discussed about it, which for whatever reasons, I have not been able to see that article, so I have clicked on the link you put to access said website. imagining that you have spoken well of that page in terms of cheaper products, I have decided to make a comparison with a single product, I have chosen a Kingston pendrive that costs € 23 http://www.gearbest.com/usb-flash-drives/pp_81484.html Then I went to the official Kingston website and looked for the same pendrive with the same capacity and when I clicked on buy, I got 2 options, one of them is Amazon, I have clicked and accessed the pendrive, which is my surprise that in Amazon, the same pendrive costs € 17., that is, cheaper than on the web you mention.

I repeat that I have not read the article in which you talk about said website and I do not know what you refer to.

It is just a comment, I do not intend to make any criticism of anything.
by the way, I've been following you for a few months now and I usually like your article.

    regards

Hello Curro, the first thing to thank you for following us and liking the content of the web!

About the price issue, I will tell you about this cable purchased directly on the gearbest website and if you can find it cheaper then go ahead with it, of course!
