LimeWire, P2P alternative for Mac

downloadlimewiremac

You know that I always try to put here the best free programs on the net for our Macs, and Today we are going to go with one of those that interests many people, because the reality is like that. It is a P2P client: LimeWire.

It is extremely simple, and You have to start from this premise to know that if what we like is to give advanced use to applications, LimeWire is not exactly what we are looking for. But if what we want is to find a file, download it and have it on the Mac, then it is worth it.

It is based on the Gnutella network (archived), and we can download all kinds of documents that you can already imagine. To download it, I recommend you take a tour of its website.

Very good program, I like among other things for the option to perform simultaneous searches.

Quite poor and with few files available. You can tell that few people use it. Its only virtue is its compatibility with iTunres. Nothing comparable to WinMX. In this I miss my old PC under Windows.
