Obviously if we compare the growth of OS X versus Windows, the first will always lose since a Mac is required to be able to use the Apple operating system and instead Windows has more market as it is available on many more computers and now recently (with the arrival of Windows 10) on some tablets and smartphones.
But even so, OS X continues to maintain a good rate of adoption according to statistics collected by the firm NetMarketShare on its own website. On the other hand, the use of Safari in its latest version also grows a little over the values of the beginning of the year, but these small points do not make it far exceed the use of Chrome or Microsoft Internet Explorer itself.
But focusing our gaze on Mac OS X, we realize that according to this firm that monitors about 160 million computers and about 40 websites, the percentage difference between OS X Yosemite 10.10 and OS X El Capitan 10.11 is only 0,21 points in favor of the new OS X. This indicates that many users are still on OS X Yosemite despite having the El Capitan version available.
Little by little OS X is making a gap among users who are tired of the Windows operating system. Obviously the user who wants to go to OS X in addition to the typical fears of the unknown is the issue of the price of the equipment. Nowadays there are some Macs in Apple that we can classify as Mac entry, but users who come from PC see the specifications and they think it will go wrong, until the day they try it and that is when they realize that it is not true.
